Parents of schoolgirls created a commotion at a reputed private school in the Dalanwala area of Dehradun on Friday after a Class 11 student accused a teacher of touching her inappropriately.
The girl’s family members, who reached the school premises, said more than 10 other girl students had also complained against the teacher.
According to a parent, the girls had previously raised complaints about the teacher’s behaviour with the school principal, but no action was taken.
Police reached the school after receiving information about the protests by parents and began investigation the matter.
Later, the girl told the media that she has sought an apology from the school authorities on the matter.
