In his 90s, this retired army officer reads newspaper daily

At a time when people remain busy with their mobile phones, Lt Col (retd) G S Rawat, a nonagenarian, is still an avid reader of newspaper. Rawat is often seen standing at the gate of his home at Mohini Road, Dehradun, waiting patiently for the hawker to deliver his newspaper in the morning. “I enjoy reading newspaper everyday. If I don’t get my newspaper to read, I feel that a part of the day is missing,” says Rawat, who is an inspiration for the young generation.
