Prime Minister Narendra Modi is arriving in Uttarakhand on Tuesday (Apr 14) for his 28th visit to the state.
This marks his 18th visit during Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami’s four-and-a-half-year tenure.
During his forthcoming visit, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the 213 km long Delhi-Dehradun Expressway built with a cost of ₹11,963 Crores as well as the country’s first 1,000-megawatt Variable Speed Pump Storage Plant (PSP) in Tehri.

September 11, 2015 – Visited the Dayanand Saraswati Ashram in Rishikesh to inquire about the well-being of Swami Dayanand Giri.
December 27, 2016 – Laid the foundation stone for the Char Dham Road Project in Dehradun.

May 18, 2019 – After offering prayers at Kedarnath and inspecting the reconstruction works, he undertook meditation for 16 hours and 45 minutes in the Dhyan Gufa (Meditation Cave). On May 19—the second day of his two-day tour—he offered prayers at Badrinath Dham. —
