Two earthquakes on Saturday morning hit Maharashtra and Uttarakhand.
In Maharashtra, an earthquake with 4.5 or 4.7 magnitude occurred at Hingoli-Basmat area at 08:45:23 IST. Geologists said the quake was 11.4 km deep inside the earth. No loss of life and property has been reported so far.
The second quake with mild 3.6 magnitude struck Pauri Garhwal in Uttarakhand at 06:29:32 IST.
