This picture of Mussoorie hills was taken on Jan 9, 2020 from Dehradun. But in the last six years, the situation has changed drastically thanks to climate change. These days, mountains in Uttarakhand and in neighbouring areas are reeling under a long dry spell with no hope of any snowfall near future. “We may expect snowfall after 10-15 days,” said a top official of the met department in Dehradun.
