A large number of devotees on Monday thronged the Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand as its pilgrimage set a new record with 14,45,946 pilgrims visiting the shrine so far this season.
On the occasion of the last Monday of the holy Shravan month, a large number of devotees reached Kedarnath Dham in Rudraprayag district to offer prayers. The shrine reverberated with chants of “Har Har Mahadev” as pilgrims prayed for prosperity and well-being.
Under the guidance of District Magistrate Vishal Mishra, the district administration has made arrangements for accommodation, food, drinking water, healthcare, sanitation and other essential facilities. Administrative teams are continuously monitoring arrangements to ensure a safe and convenient pilgrimage for devotees.
