Two people were feared drowned after a vehicle fell into Ganga at Teendhara area in Tehri district of Uttarakhand on Friday, police said.
“This morning, information was received that a pickup loading vehicle had plunged into the Ganga river near Teendhara Sainik Hotel carrying two people,” a police official said.
Upon receiving this information, an SDRF team immediately launched the rescue operation but the vehicle could not be brought out.
