3 people from HP killed as bus falls into deep khud in Kalsi (updating)

Three people from Himachal Pradesh were killed and seven injured when a passenger bus belonging to Himachal Roadways fell into a deep khud in Kalsi area of Dehradun district in Uttarakhand on Tuesday morning, police said.

The bus was going from Nerwa area to Paonta Sahib in Himachal Pradesh when the accident occurred.

The SDRF personnel immediately launched rescued operation and sent the injured persons to a nearby hospital.

The deceased have been identified as Yasmin Begum (46), Richa (30) and Dhan Bahadur — all hailing from Nerwa area in Shimla district of Himachal Pradesh, police said.
