Three persons from Himachal Pradesh were arrested along with a large quantity of explosive materials including 125 kg dynamite kept in 05 boxes in Dehradun district of Uttarakhand, police said on Friday.
in view of the Panchayat elections, the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dehradun Ajai Singh has directed all the SHOs to keep a vigil on any illegal activity. Raids are being continuously conducted by the police in the entire Dehradun district. In this sequence during checking by the Tyuni police on Thursday, an Alto car number HP 09C 9788 was stopped and five boxes of dynamite weighing 125 kg were recovered from the vehicle.
When the necessary documents were sought from the persons travelling in the vehicle, they could not produce anything following which an FIR No. 19/2025 Section 3/7 Explosives Act 1884 against three persons was registered at Tyuni police station.

2- Rohit son of Bishan Singh village Ronahat police station Silai Sirmaur Himachal Pradesh age 19 years
3- Sunil son of Kewal Ram village Sadoli police station Kotkhai Shimla Himachal Pradesh age 38 years

- 5 boxes of explosive material (dynamite) weighing about 125 kg
2. 2 boxes of caps (detonators)
3. 1 roll of red coloured wire
4. 1 bundle of sky blue coloured light
