Petrol hiked by Rs 2.61, diesel by Rs 2.71

PrashantNews
Fuel prices went up again in India as oil companies on Monday steeply hiked prices of petrol by Rs 2.61 per litre and diesel by Rs 2.71 per litre in the country.

The fuel price hike was the fourth in less than 10 days in view of the hefty increase in crude oil prices due to the Middle East crisis.

It was not yet clear whether the government would take any steps to give relief to the people against the rising prices of essential commodities.
