Four people were killed and two injured when an Alto car fell into a deep gorge in Almora district of Uttarakhand on Monday, officials said.
The accident occurred when the car going to Chaikhan area from Lamgara in the district veered off the road and plunged into deep gorge near Kanra village.
Most of the people died on the spot. The injured were rushed to Sushila Tiwari hospital in Haldwani by a helicopter.
