Sharing his experiences in the village, Chief Minister Dhami said that visiting Tundi-Baramon in Kanalichhina, his ancestral area, with his mother, was a deeply emotional moment. This is the village where he spent his childhood, attended school for the first time, and where the rich warmth, culture, and traditions of the village shaped his personality.

The Chief Minister said upon reaching the village, the affectionate blessings of the elders and the immense love of the motherly power filled his heart with emotion. During this meeting, many elders even called him by his childhood name; this feeling of belonging is beyond words. The smiles of the children and young people brought back to life all the memories that taught him values and inspired him to move forward.

The Chief Minister said during this meeting, every face felt familiar, every courtyard filled with memories, and every step felt like a walk through the streets of his childhood.

He said that, in keeping with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s request, every Uttarakhandi must renovate their homes in their ancestral villages. He added that every Uttarakhandi living outside their villages must contribute to the development of their villages. Migrants can make a significant contribution to village development.
