The Kedarnath yatra in the Garhwal Himalayas has been suspended from Wednesday for three days in view of the heavy rains warning in Rudraprayag and some other districts of Uttarakhand, officials said.
The district administration has also geared up to meet the challenge posed by the heavy rains warning. A high alert has been sounded in various parts of the state.
