A 28-year-old man from Uttar Pradesh was run over by a train at Mata Mandir Road railway crossing in Dehradun on Tuesday, police said.
Soon after getting information, a police team rushed to the spot and took Saurabh Singh (28) of Hardoi district in Uttar Pradesh to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
The family members of Singh, who used to work in a Dehradun restaurant, have been informed about the incident. The police is investigating the cause of the death.
