After completing 100 days in office, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday said she was working hard to achieve the goal of cleaning Yamuna in the national capital.
After taking holy dip in the river Ganga at Har-ki-Pauri in Haridwar, Gupta expressed optimism that people will be able to take bath in Yamuna once it is cleaned.
“Today, I took a holy dip in the Ganges at Har ki Pauri in Haridwar and prayed for the happiness, prosperity, good health and continuous progress of the people of Delhi. My prayer to Maa Ganga is that her grace and blessings remain on all of us forever and that our Delhi establishes new dimensions of prosperity, security and development,” she wrote on X.
“It is difficult to put into words the amazing peace, energy and spiritual solace I got after bathing in the divine stream of Maa Ganga,” she said.
Gupta also lauded the developmental works undertaken by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami in Uttarakhand described them as inspirational. She also slammed AAP supremo Arvind Kejeriwal for doing nothing in the last ten years in Delhi.
