World no 1 Aryna Sabalenka retained her US Open title as she defeated Amanda Anisimova (US) in straight sets 6-3, 7-6 (3) in the final at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York on Saturday in just an hour and 34 minutes.
The victory gave Belarusian her fourth Grand Slam title, adding to her two Australian Open triumphs.
