The middle and senior sections of St Joseph’s Academy (SJA) celebrated its 91st Annual Day on Saturday night with spectacular display of dances and music performances by students.

St. Joseph’s Academy commenced its grand series of celebrations with its Annual Day Programme which spanned over three days, first witnessing the Junior School Programme on 21st November 2025, where an extraordinary 1400 young performers came together on stage. The Junior School presented the delightful play ‘Into the Enchanted Lands: The Adventures of Daniyal’, a vibrant production filled with colour, energy and imagination. Their radiant costumes, expressive performances and days of hard work drew admiration from the audience and particularly from the Chief Guest,Ashish Tripathi, IRS, an alumnus of the Batch of ’98.

Continuing with the celebrations on 22nd November 2025, the school saw a huge gathering of the parents of the josephites and the school Alumni Princess Mohena Kumari Singh of Rewa, who was the representative of Tourism Minister Satpal Maharaj.

The Annual Report 2025–26 presented by the Middle and Senior School Coordinators highlighted the year’s achievements, events and interschool participation. Two long-serving teachers, Rajesh Ahuja and Sumit Gupta, were honoured for 25 years of dedicated service.

The event also celebrated academic excellence for the school toppers of the year 2023-24 and 2024-25.

The highlight of 21st and 22nd November 2025 was the enthralling play The Legend of Elysium, scripted and directed by Dev Nautiyal (Head of Dance Department). Set in a mystical realm sustained by the sacred Soul’s Stone, the production depicted the battle between greedy infiltrators and native guardians led by a heroic saviour. The mesmerising grand finale choreographed by the Dance Department added to the event’s magnificence.

The Principal, Rev. Bro. Joseph M. Joseph, presented a token of gratitude to the Chief Guest, who praised the exceptional performances of the 1430 participating students, their discipline and artistic excellence. The celebration concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by the School Head Boy and Head Girl, marking the culmination of festivities that also honoured 150 years of the Patrician Brothers’ Congregation in India (since 1875) and the Silver Jubilee of the State of Uttarakhand.
