The first day of the 91st Annual Day celebrations of St. Joseph’s Academy, Dehradun, was held on Wednesday (19th November 2025).
The programme opened with a prayer and the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, setting a reverent and uplifting tone for the evening. Uttarakhand Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan was the chief guest.
Principal Rev. Bro. Joseph M. Joseph, with Junior School Coordinator Vimi Sondhi and Kindergarten Coordinator S. Lepcha, presented the Annual Report, highlighting the year’s achievements, new initiatives, and the collective progress of the Junior School. Their combined efforts showcased the school’s commitment to nurturing confident, creative, and well-rounded young learners.
The students then enthralled the audience with the musical “Into the Enchanted Lands,” showcasing expressive performances, vibrant energy, and seamless teamwork.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest lauded the Academy for providing every child the opportunity to shine and emphasised the importance of fostering creativity, character, and values from an early age.
Principal Joseph, in his Vote of Thanks, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Almighty, the Chief Guest, the Patrician Brothers, coordinators, staff, and students.
The programme concluded with the School Song and the National Anthem, marking a dignified close to the first day of celebrations.
