Two youths were killed and three injured when a Tata Sumo vehicle fell into a deep gorge in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand on Wednesday night.

The vehicle was carrying members of a marriage party and the two people died on the spot, police said.

The injured have been rushed to nearby hospital.

The deceased have been identified as Kanhiyya (driver) of Palla village and Dhruv of Salud village in Chamoli district. They were both aged 20.
