The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), in collaboration with the National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), Dehradun, is organizing a two-day placement drive on 6–7 May, 2026. Over 350 NSTI students are participating in the drive.
The drive connects skilled job seekers with top employers. CII member companies including Tata Motors Ltd, Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Himalaya Wellness Company, Mentor Water Experts Pvt. Ltd., MRF Ltd, and others have offered over 300 vacancies.
Speaking at the inaugural session, Gyan Prakash Chourasiya, Deputy Director, NSTI Uttarakhand, said, “This placement drive is a testament to the power of industry-institution collaboration.”
Sanjay Agarwal, Chairman, CII Uttarakhand State Council, stated, “Connecting leading industries with skilled youth through such initiatives strengthens industrial progress.”
Verendra Kalra, Convener, CII Panel on Startups, Education & Skills, highlighted CII’s skilling initiatives through Multi Skilled Training Institutes (MSTIs) and Model Career Centres (MCCs). He added, “The hands-on skills imparted at NSTI are manpower-driven and cannot be replaced by AI. Students should take pride in them.”
Gaurav Lamba, Director & Head, CII Uttarakhand, said, “CII has a large industry network and will continue to create placement opportunities for students. I urge students to make full use of such drives to build careers with reputed companies.”
