Eagle enjoys rains in Doon; weather likely to remain wet in north India till May 12: IMD

An eagle atop tree was seen enjoying rains in Dalanwala area of Dehradun on Wednesday evening. The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall/snowfall with thunderstorm, lightning & gusty winds (speed reaching 30-50 kmph) likely over Uttarakhand during 06th -08th, Haryana Chandigarh & Delhi, Punjab and East Rajasthan on 06th & 07th, Uttar Pradesh on 07th May; West Rajasthan on 06thMay.

Another fresh wet spell with Isolated to scattered light to moderate rainfall/snowfall with isolated thunderstorm,
lightning & gusty winds (speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 Kmph) likely over Jammu-Kashmir-LadakhGilgit-Baltistan-Muzaffarabad, Punjab and Haryana Chandigarh & Delhi during 10th -12th, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand on 11th & 12th, May, it said.
