India on Sunday took command at Lord’s after England lost six crucial wickets for 175 runs till tea in the second innings in the third test match on Sunday.

Mohammad Siraj and Washington Sundar took two wickets each as the home side could not take any advantage on the fourth day till tea. Captain Ben Stokes was playing at 27 with C Woakes at 8. Joe Root provided some semblance to the English side by scoring 40 runs before he was bowled by Washington.

Washington again took the crucial wicket of Jamie Smith in quick succession to give India a commanding position.

In the first innings, both India and England were tied at 387 runs. The five test series is level at 1-1.
