Taking the lead, the Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL) on Friday said it was ready to support any measure in protecting India’s unity and integrity as the tension escalated on the Indo-Pak border.
Joining hands, the Industries Association of Uttarakhand (IAU) also lent its support to the government.
“Together, we will stand. We will fight. And we will prevail,” said Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of the RIL in a post on X.
Experts immediately welcomed the support of the RIL and IAU and said other top business houses must also come forward and express solidarity with the government at this hour.
Ambani also praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his bold leadership in handing the crisis. Significantly, Ambani’s statement came hours after his company withdrew its trademark application for the term “operation sindoor” saying it was inadvertently filed by a junior employee without any authorization.
Welcoming Ambani’s statement, the Industries Association of Uttarakhand (IAU) President Pankaj Gupta said the industries are standing by the government against Pakistan and lauded the Indian armed forces for their bravery. “We will support our nation with tan, man, dhan (body, mind and money),” Gupta said.
