Kite flying: Celebrations for Makar Sankrati, an auspicious Hindu festival

After Lohri celebrations, the religious fervor of Makar Sankranti, a mid-winter harvest festival, was all around in India on Wednesday. A little boy with a tinge of smile was seen riding on a bike behind his father along with kites in Dehradun’s Balbir Road.
