President Murmu to offer prayers at Kainchi Dham

The famous Kainchidham temple in Kumaon region will remain closed on Tuesday morning for six hours from 6 am as President Droupadi Murmu would offer prayers there.

“We will close the temple for security reasons tomorrow for six hours starting from 6 am in the morning. Our esteemed President Murmu ji will offer prayers there,” said a top police official.

Kainchi Dham is a Hindu temple, located in the Nainital district, Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. It was established on June 15, 1964, and is known for its association with Neem Karoli Baba, a revered Hindu saint. It is situated at a distance of 9 km from Bhowali and 17 Kms from Nainital, on the Nainital–Almora Road.
