St. Joseph’s Academy hosted the Bro. E. T. Dunne Memorial Middle School English and Hindi Debate for classes Vii and VIII with great enthusiasm and participation on Thursday. The programme began with a prayer, followed by a brief introduction about Bro. E. T. Dunne. The judges for the event were warmly welcomed before the debates commenced. Students of Class 8 opened the debate,  putting forth well-reasoned arguments, followed by equally engaging performances from Class 7 participants.

The young debaters impressed the audience and judges alike with their confidence, clarity, and critical thinking. The judges then addressed the gathering, offering valuable feedback and encouragement. A musical filler presentation added colour to the event. The much-awaited results were announced, and prizes were distributed to the winners, applauding their hard work and talent.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by the Principal, Rev. Bro. Joseph M. Joseph, marking the end of a successful and memorable debate competition.
