The Dehradun Chapter of Udayan Shalini Fellowship (USF) organised a workshop and parents’ meeting on the theme “Youth Leadership, Community Service and Entrepreneurship” at The Atlantis Club in Dehradun on Sunday. More than 250 participants and their parents attended the programme.
The keynote speaker, Tarun Pant, Director of Adimantra Rural and Tribal Development Foundation, encouraged the participants to develop leadership skills and embrace entrepreneurship as a path to self-reliance. Shruti Kotiyal and Pooja Rupain of Exzolotel Enterprises highlighted career opportunities in start-ups, event management and mass communication, while representatives of Aasra Trust shared information about skill development and vocational training programmes.
The chief guest, Er. Narendra Singh Chauhan, former National President of the Institution of Engineers (India), underscored the importance of education, discipline, leadership and social service. He urged the young participants to pursue their goals with confidence and contribute positively to society.
An interactive session with parents was also held, focusing on students’ academic progress and the vital role of parents in nurturing their children’s growth. The workshop was widely appreciated for motivating young women to become confident, socially responsible and self-reliant.
During the programme, Chapter Coordinator Vimal Dabral highlighted the achievements and various activities of the Udayan Shalini Fellowship. Emphasising the relevance and objectives of the workshop, he urged the participants to apply the knowledge and skills gained during the sessions to realise their dreams and build a successful future.
The event was successfully organised with the active support of G.S. Rawat, Co-Coordinator of the USF Dehradun Chapter; Core Committee members Deepak Ahlawat and Mamta Ahlawat; and Coordinators Farha Naaz and Diksha Dhiman. More than 250 Shalinis and their family members attended the workshop, which proved to be inspiring, informative and highly beneficial for the participants, parents and guests alike.
