Bollywood actor Govinda’s latest public appearance with his rumoured girlfriend, actress Komal Rani Swarnkar, has triggered another round of controversy, with his wife Sunita Ahuja taking a sharp dig at the actor and calling him a “sugar daddy”. Govinda has now hit back, asking his wife to “stay within limits” and accusing her of tarnishing his image.
Govinda was recently spotted with Swarnkar at Mumbai airport, where the two posed for photographers. The appearance fuelled fresh speculation about their alleged relationship, although Govinda has not publicly confirmed any romantic involvement with the actress.
Reacting to the viral appearance, Sunita questioned Govinda’s association with a woman she described as being around their daughter’s age. She also took a swipe at the actor with her “sugar daddy” remark, intensifying the ongoing public spat between the couple.
Govinda responded in a video message, objecting to what he described as repeated public attacks and attempts to defame him. He defended his professional association with younger actors, saying some of the country’s greatest artists have worked with younger talent.
The actor also urged Sunita to be careful with her language and said public figures should be mindful of the influence their words can have. He further accused her of interfering with his professional work and damaging his reputation.
The latest exchange has brought the couple’s long-running personal differences back into the spotlight, with their public comments increasingly becoming a subject of intense Bollywood and social media attention. The alleged relationship between Govinda and Swarnkar, however, remains unconfirmed.
