Higher reaches of Uttarakhand on Thursday experienced snowfall while the plains were lashed by intermittent rains.
In Dehradun, light rains lashed the city in the evening. But there was no considerable fall in temperatures.
Badrinath and Kedarnath areas also experienced snowfall. In Uttarkashi district, the higher reaches of Gangotri and Yamunotri were also lashed by snowfall.
Meanwhile, light rains occurred in most parts of the hill state that brought down the temperature in the hilly areas.
