Air Chief Marshal A P Singh felicitates Prema Rawat

Indian cricketer Prema Rawat, member of the Women’s Asia Cup-winning squad and RCB player in the WPL, has a special IAF connection. Daughter of Kedar Singh Rawat of Uttarakhand, serving with the Indian Air Force, her cricketing journey began at the sports ground of Air Force Station Bareilly and took her to the Indian Cricket Team and the international cricket arena.
From the IAF sporting grounds to the highest levels of women’s cricket, Prema’s journey reflects talent, determination and dreams taking flight. She was felicitated by the Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, Chief of the Air Staff in recognition of her achievement.
Ahead of the 2025 Women’s Premier League, she was brought by Royal Challenge Bengaluru for Rs 1.2 crore.
