President offers prayers at Kainchi Dham

The famous Kainchidham temple in Kumaon region was closed on Tuesday morning for six hours from 6 am as President Droupadi Murmu offered prayers there.

The President went to the temple and offered prayers in the morning, a temple official said.

Kainchi Dham is a Hindu temple, located in the Nainital district, Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. It was established on June 15, 1964, and is known for its association with Neem Karoli Baba, a revered Hindu saint. It is situated at a distance of 9 km from Bhowali and 17 Kms from Nainital, on the Nainital–Almora Road.
