A case was registered at Dehradun’s Rajpur police station against its SHO Shainki Kumar for allegedly driving his car in inebriated state and hitting three cars, police said on Thursday.

Kumar was immediately suspended after the video went viral on Wednesday night in which he was seen losing his senses due to heavy drinking. “After watching the video, the SSP suspended the SHO of Rajpur Police station,” a police statement said. Later a medical test was also conducted at a hospital.

SSP Ajai Singh has asked the Superintendent of Police (City) Pramod Kumar to investigate the case further.
