Fog envelops Doon in morn

A day before 2024, thick fog on Sunday greeted Dehradun in the morning. In the plains of Haridwar and Udhamsingh Nagar, the fog was heavy.
The fog which appeared around 0800 hours continued for more than one and a half hour in Dehradun city.
“It was really cold in the morning and the visibibity was poor,” said Dr Vinod Sharma who captured pictures of fog.
The met office said the fog will continue for some more days in the plains.
