Dharmendra’s ashes immerse in Ganga in Haridwar

The ashes of Bollywood star Dharmendra, who died in Mumbai on Nov 24, were immersed in the Ganga in Haridwar on Wednesday.

Dharmendra’s two sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, arrived in Haridwar with other family members. The family members immersed the ashes in Ganga away from the media glare. Later priests said Sunny Deol’s son Karan performed the immersion ceremony at Har Ki Pauri. A media report said Karan came to Har Ki Pauri on scooter. It was not clear whether both Sunny and Bobby were also present during the immersion ceremony.

Dharmendra passed away on November 24 last and his last rites were also performed in Mumbai in a similar manner.

Hema Malini was not present during the immersion of ashes in Haridwar.
