CM’s Uttarkashi road show draws huge crowd

In the run-up to the Lok Sabha election, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Monday held a mega road show in Uttarkashi.

The road show turned out to be highly successful as large number of people gathered along the route to see a glimpse of Dhami. People showered flower petals to welcome the Chief Minister, who announced projects worth Rs 291 crore for Uttarkashi district. The Chief Minister also greeted the people with folded hands amid chants of “Dhami Zindabaad”.

The drumbeats of dhol-damau and the sound of ransingha also made the road show very special for Dhami.

Dhami also participated in Didi-Bhuli programme. He also laid foundation stone for the Rs 189 RMU plan of the UJVN’s Tiloth power project there.

Dhami has held a couple of road shows in the state Since Nov 30. He has already held road shows in Haldwani and Bageshwar which also drew huge crowds.
