It was really a shock to the system when rescuers on Friday recovered the bodies of a woman who has folded a child in her arms, a heart-wrenching scene at Bargi Dam in Jabalpur area in Madhya Pradesh where a cruise capsized on Thursday killing many people.
The picture revealed the mother, who was wearing a life jacket, might have fought till death in her desperate bid to save her child from drowning.
But the question arose how come life jackets couldn’t save the lives of all those people who were wearing them when the tragedy occurred?
