A man from Jharkhand was hammered to death after a minor tiff with a friend in Dehradun city on Friday, police said.

Santosh Sahu, a street vender, was killed when he was attacked with a hammer on his head by Shibran Sahni, who hails from Bihar.

Sahni, who works in Dehradun as mason, has been arrested. Preliminary investigations revealed that Sahni killed Sahu in a fit of rage at Parade Ground area after he was injured in the minor scuffle.
