US President Donald Trump on Saturday announced that New Delhi and Islamabad have agreed to a full and immediate ceasefire.
Hours after the announcement, Pakistan sent scores of drones at Srinagar, Jammu and other areas. However, the Indian defence system brought down most of these drones. Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on X said explosions were being heard across Srinagar. Blackouts were imposed in these areas.
Earlier in the day, Rajouri Additional District Development Commissioner Raj Kumar Thapa was killed in a Pakistan shelling.
But in a late night development, Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misry said India condemned these violations and that the Indian army was maintaining vigil and has been instructed to give strong response to Pakistan’s violations.
In yet another move, Pakistan has claimed that China has promised that it would support Islamabad against India.
Acceptance of cease fire by Indian government is an insult to all those Indians who believe in self respect. Cease fire has been agreed when India was on it’s path to concrete victory. This time all Indians believed that we will break Pakistan so much that it’s coming generations will never see towards India with evil eyes.
There is no apparent reason that why Indian government has agreed to cease fire. Till two days back USA government top officials said that this war is an matter between India and Pakistan only. They will settle themselves. Suddenly they have turned thier face 180 degrees.
Is it insult to USA that their F 16 were brought down by Indian army, so they thought nobody will purchase ammunition from USA in future. India established its supremacy of air defense and air attack in this war with home made missiles and air defense system.
Or it was pressure of China whose ammunitions also suffered a heavy loss in this war.
People believed that this time Indian army will wipe out terrorists and their supporters in Pakistan to the ground level as said by our seniors.
India has not learnt any lesson from history where attackers on India first defeated by army and next time they defeated India with their nefarious means.
This has been well established in last four wars with Pakistan, where what Indian army achieved in battle field was lost political parties on negotiating tables.
