Alaknanda swells, touches Dhari Devi temple

Major rivers Alaknanda, Bhagirathi, Pinder and Mandakini in Uttarakhand swelled on Friday crossing the danger levels and inundating highways and low lying areas in Uttarakhand with the administration keeping a close watch.

Alaknanda was flowing above danger level at Dhari Devi area and a big part of Badrinath highway was submerged in the swollen river.
