In a warm gesture, Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan on Saturday met former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Major General (Retd.) B. C. Khanduri in Dehradun and inquired about his health.
Recalling their association as former Lok Sabha colleagues, the Vice-President acknowledged Major General Khanduri’s distinguished military service and his pivotal role in transforming India’s road infrastructure through the Golden Quadrilateral and National Highways Development Programme, including improved connectivity that aided the Coimbatore region’s growth.
