Renowned playback singer Jubin Nautiyal has quietly tied the knot with his childhood friend Richa Chandel, media reports quoting his family members claimed on Friday.
Speculation was rife in the past that Nautiyal, a native of Chakrata area in Uttarakhand, has tied the knot with his childhood sweetheart in an intimate ceremony attended only by close relatives and friends.
However, media reports quoting the singer’s father Ramsharan Nautiyal, a BJP leader, confirmed that his son got married with Chandel at a resort in Dehradun recently. The date was kept secret. Before her marriage, Chandel had quit her Bank job to settle in Mumbai with her husband, the media report said adding the couple also undertook pilgrimage to the Kailash Mansarovar after the marriage.
