St. Joseph’s Academy (SJA) on Saturday hosted a career Fair at the school auditorium, engaging students of Classes IX to XII in an immersive journey of career discovery and informed decision-making.

The event was held from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and served as a dynamic confluence of ambition, opportunity, and global exposure.

The occasion was graced by the distinguished Chief Guest, Shalabh Goel, an accomplished IRSEE officer of the 1989 batch of Indian Railways and the current Managing Director of the National Capital Region Transport Corporation.

An alumnus of IIT Roorkee and IIT Delhi, he brings with him decades of expertise in mass transportation and is presently spearheading the transformative Namo Bharat regional mobility initiatives across the NCR. In his address, he inspired students to align their passions with purpose and to embrace the evolving landscape of modern careers.

The fair witnessed the participation of 55 esteemed institutions from India and across the globe. Prominent universities such as FLAME University, University of Limerick, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, Shiv Nadar University, HTMI Switzerland, University of Tokyo, and Quantum University, among others, showcased a wide spectrum of academic programmes and international pathways.

Students benefited immensely from direct engagement with university representatives, gaining first-hand insights into courses, admission criteria, scholarship opportunities, and emerging career avenues. The fair also drew enthusiastic participation from leading schools such as Convent of Jesus and Mary,

St. Thomas’ College, Cambrian Hall, Doon Blossoms School, Carman School, Dalanwala, Sunrise Academy, Pine Hall School, Hilton’s School, St. Patrick’s Academy, Summer Valley School, St. Jude’s School, Shigally Hill International Academy, and The Heritage School, further enriching the collaborative spirit of the event.

The seamless execution of the Career Fair 2026 was made possible under the visionary leadership of the Principal, Brother Joseph M. Joseph, along with the dedicated efforts of the school Career Counsellor, Sumit Gupta, and the SJA Career Counselling Department of St. Joseph’s Academy. Their meticulous planning and commitment ensured a well-organised and impactful experience for all participants.

More than just an event, the Career Fair emerged as a gateway to possibilities; broadening perspectives, nurturing aspirations, and enabling students to forge meaningful connections with institutions of repute. The enthusiastic participation of both students and recruiters underscored its resounding success.
