Two youths were drowned in the river Kosi near Ramnagar barrage in Nainital district of Uttarakhand, officials said on Tuesday.
The incident occurred on Monday evening when Ankit Singh (22) and Mayank Agarwal (24) were taking bath in Kosi. All of a sudden they were caught in the fast currents of the river and swept away.
Efforts were on to search the bodies of the two youths, who hail from Ramangar tehsil.
