In view of the on-going unrest in Nepal, the Uttarakhand Police is fully vigilant and on alert mode.
Since Pithoragarh, Champawat and Udhamsingh Nagar districts share borders with Nepal, the security system has been tightened further, a police statement said.
The police force is carrying out joint patrolling and surveillance in the border area along with the Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
