After the snowfall last week, the temperature has started rising steadily in Dehradun and some other parts of Uttarakhand.

The mercury on Tuesday rose to 33.6 degree C in Doon which was the highest in the season so far.

However, the met office said during past 24 hours, Maximum temperatures remained normal in plains and below normal to above normal in hills of Uttarakhand

The Met office said the temperature is likely to rise 2-4 degree C further in the coming 4-5 days. The weather is also likely to remain dry in the hill state.

Pantnagar was the hottest town where the temperature shot up to 36 degree C in the day.
