US President Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu have announced that Iranian supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was dead in Tehran in the joint strikes, a claim which was later confirmed by Iranian state TV.
Meanwhile, air strikes by Israel and US were continuing in Iran. On the other hand, Tehran also claimed that it would continue to hit targets in the Gulf region and Israel.
