Two youths from Bihar were drowned in Alaknanda river near Chauras area of Pauri district in Uttarakhand on Wednesday, police said.
The two youths — Ayushraj Thakur (20) and Harshraj Kaushik (21), who were residents of Muzaffarpur, went to the riverside for swimming but soon got drowned in the deep waters.
An SDRF team immediately launched a search operation and recovered the two bodies from the river
