Five people were killed when a car fell into a deep khud in Nijmula Ghati area of Chamoli district in Uttarakhand on Friday, officials said.
All the five people travelling in the car died on the spot. They were returning home after attending a marriage in the nearby village.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami expressed shock over the accident and asked the district administration to provide compensation to the family members of the victims
