A helicopter carrying pilgrims crashed at Gangnani area in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand on Thursday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said.
Official sources said four people were killed in the crash.
The rescue operation has been launched with the help of SDRF and teams of the district administration, the CM said.
The CM said he has instructed the district administration to provide best medical care to the injured.
