Holding BJP flag high, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Friday participated in “jan akrosh rally” in Dehradun against Congress for opposing women’s reservation amendment bill. The rally came a day after BJP President Nitin Nabin indicated that the 2027 Uttarakhand Assembly elections will be contested under Dhami’s leadership.

The massive women march serves as a warning to the Congress party and its allies—who stand in opposition to the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam—that they will have to face the consequences of their opposition in the times to come, the Chief Minister said.
